During the 24-25 season Julian will conduct two programs as one of four finalists for the position of Music Director and Principal Conductor. Programs will feature music of Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Gluck, Haydn, Vivian Fung, and Boccherini.

Julian Pellicano Finalist for Music Director position with Vermont Symphony Orchestra
In 2021, Julian was named as one of seven candidates for the position of Music Director with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. The search takes place during the 21-22 and 22-23 seasons. Julian will debut with the orchestra during their annual Summer tour of the state of Vermont, July 1 - 10 2022.

After four successful engagements with the company, Julian has been appointed to the position of Principal Conductor with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. As the company celebrates is 80th season in 2019 - 2020, Julian will begin his position on the artistic staff, conducting performances with orchestra in Winnipeg and on national and international tours.

Julian Pellicano Returns to Royal Winnipeg Ballet
After a successful debut in 2017, Julian has been re-invited to conduct two productions with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet during the 2018 / 2019 season. Working with renowned dancer and choreographer Lila York, he will kick off the RWB's season with a re-mounting of their critically acclaimed 2013 production, The Handmaid's Tale, with music by James MacMillan, Arvo Pärt, Alfred Schnittke, Andrzej Panufnik, Leonard Bernstein and John Corigliano. In 2019 Julian will close the RWB season with The Wizard of Oz, a new production co-commissioned by the RWB with a new score by composer Matthew Pierce.
